OUR STORY

We started as a restaurant

In 1997, we opened Bongchang-i Seafood Kalguksu in Daegu. As the chain grew, we could not find a supplier that made noodles the way our first restaurant did. In 2001, we built a factory and began making them ourselves.

We still run Hyeongnim Dongtae (three locations in Daegu) and Hyeongnim Jjukkumi (Pangyo). Every new product goes on our own menus before it is offered to customers.

Our restaurants

We still run Hyeongnim Dongtae (three locations in Daegu) and Hyeongnim Jjukkumi (Pangyo). Every new product goes on our own menus before it is offered to customers.

We supply our own broth bases, stir-fry sauces and spicy bases to our restaurants and other operators through OEM production.

We operate Hyeongnim Dongtae and Hyeongnim Jjukkumi, keeping noodle production close to the restaurant kitchen. One franchise customer has worked with us to the same specifications for over 20 years.
